Our Team

Craig Stewart
Co-Founder & CEO
Our co-founder is known across Canada for his advocacy on climate change and disruption. Craig has completed hundreds of media interviews on natural disasters and economic transition and has testified repeatedly on climate preparedness to Canadian Senate and House Committees. He’s a veteran of both the insurance industry and of WWF Canada, leading the Arctic program for the latter. He’s no stranger to startups nor adventure - he launched Canada’s first transboundary ecosystem research institute 25 years ago and was a supporting member of the successful Colliers-Lotus Everest Expedition. Craig has kayaked, skied, cycled, hiked, and camped in over 40 countries on five continents.
Laurie Laplante
Co-Founder & CINO
Laurie envisioned Aldeo while living as a digital nomad in Hawaii and dedicated her sociological research to addressing the challenges remote workers face. She’s immersed herself in understanding the mental health, socio-cultural, economic and productivity challenges facing both employers and remote workers and, as such, is the custodian of our secret sauce.
